Sunday in the sunshine

I love weekends.

Who doesn't really. Today was a glorious Sunday spent in the sunshine, and here is a snippet of what I got up to.

I met friend J for a power walk around the East Perth bridges this morning, followed by a yummy breakfast at the Royal. The weather was just gorgeous and the spring flowers were all in bloom.

What a perfect start to the day. As the temperature rises, one of the highlights for T is getting out his swimming pool. After a walk and play in the park, here he is cooling off.

Our local community garden was having an open day, and as this is of interest to me professionally, I thought I would check it out. You can find their website here. It was a lovely garden with a mixture of produce and seems to have created a real hub in the Victoria Park community.

Finally A's sister K and her three children N (who turned 7 today - Happy Birthday N!), A and J came over for cake. Yum. We played soccer in our garden which has just started to come alive again after winter. Check out the new growth on my Jasmine vine.

How is your garden looking? With all this rain it seems weird to think that soon I will have to consciously remember to water the garden every couple of days.

I hope you have a lovely Sunday night.

H x
