As the temperature rises and the days get longer, it can be easy to forget the dreary winter rain and wish the time away until summer is upon us. I do love summer (in Perth how could you not!) but I think it's important to stop and smell the roses (literally) and relish in this wonderful time of year.

It's a nice time of year to be outdoors without the risk of instant sunburn and dehydration. I am looking forward to balmy evenings, Sunday afternoon beers and spending endless hours at the beaches down south this summer, but right now I am happy enjoying this beautiful springtime.
